Raspberry Chia Jam

This recipe came to light when I was trying to minimize my trips to the grocery store and definitely will be something that comes with me post-pandemic. This recipe is insanely easy and quick while providing all the jam you could need! Free of refined and added sugars, this jam will allow and retrain your taste buds to appreciate the sweetness of the berries. Between the berries and the chia seeds, this jam is a fiber powerhouse that will elevate any PB&J, oatmeal or smoothie bowl, etc. I love to serve it on rice cakes with peanut butter and cinnamon!


  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds


  • Heat frozen berries in a pot on the stovetop.
  • As berries thaw, add in chia seeds and stir frequently.
  • Stir in lemon juice if desired.
  • Allow berries to fully thaw and chia to swell and absorb juice.
  • Store in airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week.


Optional: 1 Tbsp lemon juice
